One of the biggest values of Daring To Shine and one of Meg’s 7 secrets to shining is giving back. She believes that giving from your heart is one of the ways we can all make this world a better place.

Meg searched for a charity to become involved with and Rays of Sunshine really touched her.

Rays of Sunshine are a children’s charity that helps children aged 3-18 who are living with a serious or life-limiting illness in the UK.

They grant children a wish that may seem impossible but is one that they can share with their family.

We can support them by raising funds for the children’s wishes, hospitals, hospices and specialist schools to improve their facilities.

Meg is grateful and fortunate that she is healthy, and is very aware that others are not. This has made her grateful for the many opportunities, experiences and love she has received that has supported to her to achieve her success. Now, she has the opportunity to give something back and is fully committed to supporting this amazing charity.

We can all do something, however small to contribute to make this world a better place. We can all stand up and shine to help others.

Everyone deserves to have incredibile experiences in their life. Through granting a special wish to an ill child and their family, they will forever have a memory that they can share, forever.
